Mackenzie Johnson and
Counterpoints take 1st Place at the Indiana Concert Choir Championship.
Mackenzie is a senior at North Central High School and is a member of the North Central High School Counterpoints, a choir group of talented young men and women that perform and compete throughout the country. On May 2, they competed against 15 other concert choirs who had also qualified for the state finals. North Central took first place. Additionally, the Counterpoints were first runner up in the 2008 Indiana Show Choir Competition and Second Runner Up in the national Fame Show Choir competition in Chicago.
Mackenzie, daughter of Ed and Sara Johnson, is a member of North Central Church of Christ, a member of the Youth Group and Praise Team, and has traveled on North Central mission trips and participated in many ministries including representing youth on HR committees and Youth Council.
