Make your summer (stay-in-town) mission plans now for
Faith, Hope, Love this July 20th through the 26th.
Many people have it in their hearts to do good work for our neighbors who are less fortunate but may not be in a position to travel many miles away to do that “mission” work. When you participate in Faith, Hope, Love you are doing “mission” work at home. And it’s work that makes a difference in peoples lives and helps to demonstrate the love of Christ! Multiple individuals from North Central have participated and all have commented on how enjoyable the experiences have been to give of themselves to someone else. As well, there are so many churches within the community that come together to serve those within Indianapolis, that you have the opportunity to fellowship with other Christians from other churches…...what a great opportunity to expand you network of Christian friends and show the love of Christ to others!
Faith, Hope, and Love is doing wonderful things and not just in Indianapolis, Indiana but nationwide.
These mission projects happen during a special week in July called Faith, Hope Love week, with a vision for monthly projects to span the year. During FHL week, you have the opportunity to extend a loving hand into your community.
Here are some examples of projects we do:- Rehab homes damaged by poverty or neglect
- Visit with the elderly
- Distribute free bottled water
- City streets clean up
- Serving the Public servants
- Wash cars
- Cheer up children in the hospital and orphanages
It’s like a mission trip without the trip. The great thing about FHL is that you don’t need to be a missionary or commit lots of time or money to participate in this great adventure. There are so many needs right here where we live. But you’ll gain all the benefits of a mission trip…
