Library

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

North Central’s library provides literature and media resources that will aid individuals in developing skills, concepts, and values helpful in providing perspectives on daily living. Most selections are from a Christian viewpoint, promoting and fostering spiritual and intellectual growth. In many instances the library resources can provide God glorifying alternatives to secular information and reading.

The North Central library is located on the second floor of the north wing. Instructions for checking out a North Central library selection are available in the library.

Book Review:
My Hands Came Away Red— a novel, by Lisa McKay

My Hands Came Away Red is the story of a team of diverse young people who come together for a mission trip to Indonesia—a journey into the jungle, when tragedy strikes.

The characters are developed in uniquely personal ways. The presence of God is felt throughout. They bond, endure and form family.

No one is better suited to tell this story than Lisa McKay whose background is as a “forensic psychologist and the Director of Training and Education Services for Headington Institute, which provides psychological and spiritual support to humanitarian workers around the world.”
