Overall Mission of the North Central Church of Christ
North Central exists to glorify God by fostering transformed life in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Within that mission, the worship ministry exists to glorify God and help others do the same. Worship is what we as humans were created to do! We view our role within the congregation as one of support and encouragement. We lead from the front to better equip everyone to express to God what everyone needs to express, admittedly not a felt need for some just yet.

About Murray Sanderson, Worship Leader/Administrator
I head up our worship ministry here at North Central, and also serve as Administrator. After graduating from Harding University in 1990 with a degree in accounting, I soon realized that my life’s work had to involve music somehow. How does one go from being a CPA to a music minister? Only God knows, literally. Thankfully, God also knew that I would be able to use my accounting skill set and love of music, combined with a passion for lost people, in the setting of the local church.
About my role at North Central.
As Worship Minister at North Central, I’m always looking for people to join the worship ministry… if you enjoy singing, serving communion, praying, reading scripture, painting, sculpting, copying, marketing, scheduling, clicking (as in clicking keys on a keyboard), and/or designing – then let me know. God can use you. He will help you see how you can best plug in to serve here at NCCOC. God has a unique stamp on your life, a purpose only you can accomplish and for which you were created. Come discover it with us! God is always showing us new things and crushing the small box in which we previously tried to contain Him.
In my role as administrator, I help coordinate various ministry efforts so that we stay in line with our overarching church vision. There’s hardly any task (except youth or children’s ministry) that doesn’t fall under this “administration” umbrella, so if you have any skills not previously mentioned above (such as financial, strategic planning, hammer-swinging, leadership, etc.), then I’m pretty sure we can find a place for you to serve in one of many ministries at NCCOC.
